MEDWISH INTERNATIONAL

MedWish International is a non-profit organization committed to therecovery and recycling of usable medical supplies that area healthcareproviders must discard. These life-saving supplies are made availableto those providing medical care in developing countries throughout theworld. Globally, the MedWish International program improves the qualityof medical care available to the underserved around the world; locally,they are effectively reducing the amount of solid waste deposited inlandfills. MedWish International also serves as a resource for localhealth-care professionals and charitable organizations interested inglobal health.

In July 2007, MedWish International and H.E.L.P.Malawi joined forces to outfit the H.E.L.P. Malawi Medical Clinic. Withthe help of MedWish International, the clinic will have everything itneeds to provide proper healthcare to the students at Nanthomba Schooland the people in nearby villages. In association with the opening ofthe medical clinic, both organizations have orchestrated a medicalbrigade specifically for the Nanthomba School and surrounding villages.The brigade will strive to educate the children and families about theimportance of healthcare and demonstrate how to properly maintain goodhealth.
