Scope:  H.E.L.P. Malawi requires someone with strong managerial skills that can further the organizations vision of spreading hope, education, love and protection to the children of Malawi.  This person will be expected to maintain or restructure existing projects, design and implement new projects and develop creative solutions to unique problems.  The main responsibilities will include but are not limitedto:

·  Overseeing all income generating activities

·  Developing new income generating activities

·  Writing business plans

·  Setting goals for profit making and documenting the results

· Helping develop a brand name

·  Training local staff on entrepreneurialskills, including computer based documentation

·  Maintaining and building relationships with the community, including gradually handing over various businesses to the community itself

·  Record keeping

Qualifications:  Candidates should have substantial experience or a degree in NGO Development, Business Management Administration, Education or a relative field. They should have extensive development experience in Africa and preferably Malawi.  Ground level experience in education, development, agriculture and business is recommended and a basic level of fluency in Chichewa is an asset. 

Compensation:  The position is for minimum of one year.  Housing, transportation andother benefits are included in package. Please inquire for details.
